As you can see through my art, the main theme of my work is urban landscape, portraying cities such as Paris, Venice and New York. In my art, I attempt to show these “places” from a different point of view, a different angle and different corners in which we have not reflected on. Another of my usual topics are interiors. Illustrating life´s everyday scenes inside cafes or antique shops; Evocative scenes that transfer us to another time. Scences are renewed through my knowledge of the human figure. Also my passion for architecture, allows me to combine the landscape and the figure, and yet keeping each their own individuality and personality within the painting, creating an enveloping atmosphere.
My art is inspired by different painters with their own different styles.... Canaletto ( XVIII ) with his style almost scenic., Turner ( XVIII-XIX ), with its enveloping atmospheres, and other more current and less well-known, artists like Salvador Montó and Jon Landa, know for their chromaticism.
Como se puede ver a través de mis imágenes, el tema principal de mi trabajo es el paisaje urbano, retratando ciudades como París, Venecia o últimamente Nueva York; ciudades muy pictóricas, a menudo representadas pero a las que intento dotar de un enfoque nuevo al que estamos acostumbrados, ya sean desde un punto de vista desde un ángulo diferente o reflejando rincones en los que no hemos reparado.
Las influencias recibidas en este sentido son amplias y abarcan pintores muy diferentes y de estilos muy distintos entre sí; desde Canaletto ( S XVIII) con sus encuadres casi escenográficos, hasta Turner ( S XVIII-XIX), con sus atmósferas envolventes, pasando por otros más actuales y menos conocidos, como Salvador Montó y Jon Landa, por su cromatismo.
Otro de mis temas habituales son los interiores, reflejando para ello escenas de la vida cotidiana en escenarios como cafés o anticuarios; escenas evocadoras que nos remiten a otra época, actualizadas gracias al profundo estudio de la figura humana, cursado en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Venecia, y a mi pasión por la arquitectura, lo que me permite conjugar el paisaje y la figura, pero manteniendo cada una de ellas su propia individualidad y personalidad dentro del cuadro, creando atmósferas envolventes
